| Dixie Aerospace to host Open House | | Peachtree City, GA - September 25, 2008 | PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Dixie Aerospace is celebrating its 40 year anniversary and its new location by hosting an open house event on Oct. 8-11.
Dixie Aerospace, the leader in aircraft bearing distribution and PMA development, will be celebrating with various events including golf, a barbeque, informational breakout sessions regarding the PMA market and other activities. The celebration is being held in concurrence with the Great Georgia Airshow — taking place on Oct 11 at Falcon Field.
One of the main purposes for the open house event, is to celebrate the company’s recent move from Atlanta to Peachtree City. Dixie Aerospace’s president, Jason Caldwell, said that this move has been good for the company, as well as for the surrounding community.
“"We are excited to bring this company to Peachtree City. We have already received such a warm welcome from the people here. Our company will benefit from an educated work force with significant experience in the aerospace industry. The community will also benefit as we bring 60 jobs to the city today, and more in the future as we continue to grow, “ he said.
