In 2009, Minebea Co., Ltd. acquired myonic GmbH, a miniature precision ball bearing manufacturer based in Leutkirch, Germany. Myonic's European operation, which consists of two manufacturing sites and over 390 employees, has been integrated into Minebea as an independent company overseen by New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. Myonic's U.S.-based customers are serviced through myonic USA, a division of NHBB.
